Paragliding is a sport when you have wings in the shape of a kite. You jump off mountains and hills. It is like the name indicates you hang in the air till you touch the ground softly. You can turn aswell!

BMX legend Kevin Robinson, made history by flying higher than any human has ever gone on a BMX bike. At the first red bull experiment.
The first Red Bull Experiment took place in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve 2007 and saw motorcross rider Robbie Maddison go the furthest distance on a motorbike. Now it was Kevin’s turn to get into the history books, but this time with BMX, where he launched an amazing 27 feet out of a ramp in Central Park, soaring high above the New York skyline.

This is an interesting facts I found out about Ryan Sheckler!

• He was born in San Clemente, California.
• He first got on a skateboard at only 18 months old!
• He started doing tricks at the age of 6.
• In his backyard sheckler built himself a halfpipe, tabletop and several grind rails!
•  And finaly my favourite fact: He is sponsored by Plan B, Volcom, Etnies, Red Bull, Silver Trucks, Bones, Ninja, Mob Grip, Oakley, Nixon, Kicker, CCS, and Panasonic.

The skateboard will be 40 year old this year.

The first National Skateboard Championship was held in 1965.

Skateboading is America’s sixith largest participatory sport.

There are more than 6 million skateboarders in america, about 2% of people in america!

Almost half of them live in California.
The deck, wheels, and trucks are the three main parts of a skateboard.

Tony Hawk was the first person to land the trick called the 900.

Snowboarding is a sport that is just like skateboarding except the board has no wheels or trucksand your feet are stuck to the board with bindings . And you are on the snow. There is a couple of different sorts of snowboarding. There is Halfpipe, Mountain, racing and lots more.

You have many types of skating. Such as, Street skating, Ramp skating and park skating. Skating is when you are on a skateboard. You can do lots of different tricks like kickflips, hardflips, pop shuvits, 360 pop shuvit, 360 flip and more!

Diving s asport when you jump of a tall sping board and perform a series of complicated flips and spins. It is also a leisure sport for kids all over the world. Most pools have atleast a 1 metre board. But some pools have anything up to 10 metres tall!
